There's currently a 'glossary' link on the home page, or follow the path: WOW (Water on the Web)
a collaborative project from the University of Minnesota, with content aimed
at high school and freshman college students. The project tracks lake research using data
generated by remote sensors. The site presents the data in an educational format. A series
of lessons and instructor guides are provided, and the animated visualization tools (Java)
are dynamite! For example, you can watch dissolved oxygen levels shift with seasonal
temperature at varying depths. You can also access raw data and do-it-yourself with
